Console repair in Poitiers
Internal cleaning, Switch screen replacement, fault diagnosis. I'm not a dedicated console specialist — but what I do, I do well. And if I can't repair it, I'll tell you straight.
What I repair
My console interventions
Internal cleaning
PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch
Full dust removal from the fan and heatsinks, fresh thermal paste. Your console runs cooler, sounds quieter and lasts longer.
Switch screen replacement
Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED
Cracked LCD or OLED panel, unresponsive touch? I replace the complete screen with a quality part. Results indistinguishable from new.
Mechanical repairs
All consoles
Unresponsive buttons, damaged charging port, jammed disc drive. Straightforward mechanical fixes that don't require microsoldering.
Fault diagnosis
All consoles
Console won't power on or behaving strangely? I diagnose the fault for free and give you an honest verdict: repairable here, or best sent to a specialist.

What I don't repair
I'd rather be honest: some repairs need equipment or expertise I don't have. Rather than risk making things worse, I'll point you to the right person.
Motherboard microsoldering
Requires specialist gear (reballing station, microscope) which I don't have. Too risky without the right kit.
Controller / joystick repair
Parts cost plus labour usually exceeds the price of a new controller. Not worth it for you.
HDMI port repair
This is CMS microsoldering — same issue as motherboards. A standard soldering iron won't cut it.
Modding / flashing / jailbreaking
I don't do unofficial software or hardware modifications.
